Se incorpora Puerto Rico Institute of Green Economics,Inc una organizacion Sin Fines de Lucro para:

  1. Apoyar el pionerismo económico asesorando pequeñas y medianas empresas cuyo objetivo sea emprender proyectos que nos permita re-generar el bienestar social y ambiental en Puerto Rico.  Nos place en anunciarle que estamos ya trabajando con varios proyectos que prometen adelantar la sustentabilidad de nuestros recursos, creando bienestar económico sin menoscabar la base natural y humana que engendra nuestra riqueza.
  2. Desarrollar talleres educativos ambientales para facilitar que empresas, comercios y comunidades puedan reducir su huella ambiental, de manera eficiente y consona con sus responsabilidad y aspiraciones de desarrollo y crecimiento economico.  
  3. Auspiciar y fomentar el voluntarismo y mentoria a través de iniciativas como Voluntarios por Puerto Rico.  Hemos adoptado ya el proyecto C.A.S.A. trabajando en colaboración con otros profesionales en el campo de la construccion, hidrogeologia y ecologia para lograr que las edificaciones presentes y futuras de la organizacion sean eco-amigable, logrando entre otras cosas,  auto-suficiencia en Energía y Agua. 
  4. Adelantar el pensamiento critico en el tema de la Economía, promoviendo la discusión sobre como la Economía incide sobre la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos.  Tenemos como meta asegurarnos que todo desarrollo económico basado en el paradigma nuevo de Economía Verde, traiga en si un balance y una armonía para promover el Bienestar y la Calidad de Vida.  Igualmente seremos fervientes defensores que la seguridad del trabajador de esta nueva economía verde sea protegida.
